I agree. The WHY is essential, and it ought to be a personal desire not to please others. Ultimately every desire we have will affect others so the more positive the effect on others the better the personal satisfaction.

Re: You Must Know These 3 Things to Be Successful

I couldn't agree more with what you've written. I'd like to add that, along with knowing WHAT you want, you need to know WHY you want it. Sometimes we want something because that's what others have said we SHOULD want or that's what we think is appropriate to want. Or we think that, once we get what we want, we can expect certain benefits that are unrealistic or out of our control ("I want to lose weight so my spouse will love me"). Then, if we achieve our goal, we still aren't happy because it didn't bring us the expected outcome.

Re: Help the World by Helping Yourself

This to me is what it is all about! It's not just about you or me, but how can we work together? How can I integrate self-improvement with world-improvement? I feel that when we align ourselves with this greater sense of being, we are more like to do and achieve goodness.

This was a very, very well-written post, and the message was loud and clear!

Re: The Aftermath of Burnout: How to Rejuvenate Yourself

Thank you for the useful information, i will try to put them to use

Re: Do You Have a Prosperity Mindset?

i think the blog information that setting up life coach and setting up goal for the individual in life or for organization.

Re: How to Let Bygones Be Bygones

Hi Jameelah, thanks for stopping by. Keep in mind that we forgive for ourselves, not for the forgiven person. Forgiveness clears the emotions which make us ill and upset. Once we've forgiven we open up to new inspiration. You may find an article I wrote on Relationship Boundaries helpful, on my other blog http://www.jmurdoch.com/200.... But you are on the right path.
